RocKracker®
Rock Breaking System
RocKracker® breaks oversized boulders via gas pressure developed at the bottom of a drill hole. The pressure comes from the ignition of a proprietary composite propellant in the RocKracker® cartridge. No special blasting licence is required, although an ATF low explosives use license is. Magnum Buster™
Hydro-Fracturing Technology
The device works by transferring rapidly expanding gas pressure to non-compressible water or gel in a drill hole to act as a wedge to split the rock. This brief, intense hydrostatic force is the hydro-fracturing technology of the Magnum Buster™.
