JET STIK can remove material rapidly without overheating, fracturing, or fusing the stone through its high velocity flame and water cooling. With JET STIK you can shape, carve, round edges, and re-surface stone. This amazing, versatile tool allows you to carve basins in solid granite among other things.
Description
The JET STIK hand held torch is a miniature water-cooled rocket.
Oxygen and propane are injected into the combustion chamber at the tip of the torch. These gases burn completely within the chamber at around 5,300 degrees F. The hot gases then fire through the tip orifice at a velocity of 5,000 feet per second. It is this high velocity that increases the heat transfer rate and makes the JET STIK so effective for flame finishing granite.
Whether you are working with granite, sandstone, bluestone, dolomitic limestone, or quartzite, the JET STIK can work it.
